The Old Dominion
Kennel Club of Northern Virginia, Inc. (ODKC)
is a not-for-profit club founded in the 1930s to protect and advance
the best interests of all breeds of pure-bred dogs and responsible dog
ownership in the Northern Virginia area.
Although we hold two all-breed AKC licensed shows and obedience trials annually, we offer much more for the breeder, exhibitor, or anyone else who really loves dogs. The Club is a member of the American Kennel Club (AKC), and the Virginia Federation of Dog Clubs & Breeders, Inc.
Cherry Blossom Cluster
April 23th - April 25th 2021
Our annual all-breed AKC licensed shows,
usually held the latter part of April and September or October, have dogs exhibited
in both conformation and obedience classes. This is a chance to come
and cheer for your favorite breed, become more familiar with other breeds,
talk to breeders, and meet members of the Club.
ODKC
provides dog lovers of registered breeds a comfortable environment for
learning, competing, and growing in their chosen breed(s). We certainly
welcome volunteer participation for anyone who wants to learn about
shows or the organization in general!
